Fabio and Walter Rossi, two Italian brothers from a family with a tradition of importing Scotch Whiskey into Italy, manufacture Ron Millonario at a distillery in Northern Peru. Fabio received a tip about an underutilised distillery in Northern Peru after starting to import rum to meet the growing Italian demand. He flew in right away and met with the master blender to develop Ron Millonario's distinct style. Plantations of extraordinary sugar cane grow on the ancient fertile plains of northern Peru, which were cultivated by the Incas many centuries ago. Fermentation, distillation, and ageing are all done with carefully picked cane, combining old and new techniques.
