The wild blackberries, the last red berry of the season, are eagerly awaited and picked when fully mature, ensuring the authenticity of this fruit liqueur. Contrary to the insipid cultivated varieties, Joseph Cartron insists on using only wild blackberries, which are the only ones with true aromatic strength. Joseph Cartrons Crme de Mre des Roncires (Wild Blackberry Liqueur) has a soft acidulous flavour reminiscent of wild blackberries picked along country paths during our childhood.
