This delicious Hayman's Gin expression was rested in Scotch whisky casks for three weeks before bottling, imparting fragrant oak notes and a smoother mouth feel to the gin. There's even more herbal, peppery spice in this Hayman's Gin than in other Hayman's Gins, which are usually citrus-forward.

Tasting Note:
Hayman's Family Reserve has a juniper and coriander aroma, with less citrus than their other gins. Pine from the juniper is present on the palate, along with spicy coriander notes and some lovely oak hints. On the palate, it's smooth and rounded, which I attribute to the resting phase.
