Artesa Rioja Crianza

Grape Variety: 100% Tempranillo

Made from Tempranillo grapes cultivated in hillside vineyards (600 metres above sea level) in the best parts of Rioja Oriental. The wine is matured for a minimum of 12 months in American oak, plus one year in bottle, before release. The winery replaces 20% of its barrel stock, with new barrels, each year.

Tasting Note: Beautifully integrated aromas of dark fruit, plums and spice - backed up by a herbal freshness. These dark berry fruit characters follow through onto the palate, with additional gently spicy notes. Tannins are round and firm and lead to a complex and poised finish. Drink with lamb, roast pork, game, mushroom risotto or meat-baked pasta dishes.
